Farnese Motto

Lead for Change International (LFCI)
Founder

Farnese Motto moved from Cameroon, Africa to the United States 13 years ago. She studied biobehavioral health at the Pennsylvania State University, where she graduated in 2016. She has recently worked at Planned Parenthood Virginia PAC as a data assistant and helped lobby on behalf of women’s health. With encouragement from mentors and friends, Farnese is finally creating a startup nonprofit, Lead for Change International (LFCI). The mission of LFCI is, ‘by encouraging financial savings, changing community behavior, and promoting health communication, rural adolescent girls in Africa will be maintained in a formal education system.’  Passionate about development, the move to create a startup nonprofit was an innate choice. In her free time, Farnese loves to write poetry and has started meditating again!
