Join us as a panel of alumni and Penn State faculty and staff share their compelling stories of how they faced challenges and used entrepreneurial thinking to ‘Flip the Story.’ Erin Weidemann — keynote speaker at the Business of Positive Change luncheon — will moderate a discussion with this diversely experienced panel. Kevin Snider, Chancellor of the New Kensington Commonwealth campus will share how entrepreneurship is helping to flip the story of a rust belt community; Aaron Lamphere (2015) will share how he is helping to change the story of underserved youth with the software startup he co-founded in the D.C. area;  Leslie Laing, Director of Adult Learner Programs and Services in Student Affairs, will describe how she faced a life challenge that eventually led to her role at Penn State, advocating for adult learners who are flipping their own stories and finally, Farnese Motto will share how her background and life changing trip to Tanzania pushed her to create her start-up non-profit, LFCI. She will also share what her goals and objectives are in order to flip the lives of the young girls she plans to help.

Come, listen, and perhaps share your own ‘Flipped Story.’
